SudharMap is an AI-powered civic issue reporting platform designed for Indian cities. It empowers citizens to report problems like potholes, garbage, broken streetlights and more using photos, GPS location and AI-assisted descriptions. Built with React, Firebase, Google Maps and Gemini AI, it features multi-language support (6 Indian languages), offline-first architecture, authority dashboards, RTI generator, SOS emergency reporting and community engagement with leaderboards.

The Challenge
Building a civic tech platform accessible to all Indian citizens — including those with limited tech literacy — that can work offline in areas with poor connectivity.
Our Solution
Designed an intuitive, mobile-first interface with large touch targets, emoji-based navigation and AI-powered photo analysis that auto-fills issue reports. Implemented offline-first architecture with automatic sync, multi-language support in 6 Indian languages and a gamified leaderboard to encourage civic participation.
